PICKLE BALLGet in on the craze that is taking over parks and gyms everywhere! Played with a composite/graphite paddle and a baseball-sized whiffle ball, PICKLE BALL is very similar to tennis, but is played on a smaller court. It is not, however, paddle tennis. The court is the same size as a badminton court – 20x44 feet, or one-third the size of a tennis court – and the net, on the ground, is two inches lower than the standard 36” tennis net. Because of the smaller court size, the game is more intimate and friendly. Some common quotes from those who are playing regularly include, “People are always laughing, always complimenting, always socializing,” and “We’re literally closer together…we can’t help but smile and interact.” Here at The Marshall White Center, we offer a wide variety of PICKLE BALL extravaganza! We offer open play, where you can play with whomever you wish and come and go as you please. While laid back play is fun for all, many players participate in our LEAGUE PLAY, which is split up depending on your skill level. |
SPIN CLASSGoing nowhere fast is usually a bad thing right? Well, in SPIN CLASS that is the whole point! The high-intensity exercise craze involves hopping on a stationary bike and peddling as hard as you can while adding and subtracting resistance. Though you'll get an amazing workout, many people go just for the atmosphere. There's a strong sense of camaraderie between riders as you sweat in dimly lit studios that pump heart-pounding music. There's nothing like finishing a class feeling exhausted, accomplished, and part of a team.

YOGAYoga is a complex system that focuses on harmony between body and mind. Yoga derives its philosophy from Indian metaphysical beliefs. The word yoga comes from Sanskrit language and means union or blend. The ultimate aim of this philosophy is to strike a balance between mind and body and attain self-enlightenment. To achieve this, yoga uses movement, breath, posture, relaxation and meditation to establish a healthy balanced approach to life.
